I came quite late to Al's PhD supervision team but was very quickly impressed by his willingness and ability to engage with research methodologies that many from a traditional science background struggle with. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have many interesting conversations about his work. His research around the use of body worn cameras in pre-hospital resuscitation really pushed things forward in terms of what can be done in this field. We will do our best to ensure his PhD thesis reaches as wide an audience as possible.
