During Alistair's time at Currie Community High School, I had the privilege of being his Guidance teacher. From the beginning, Alistair impressed me as a highly intellectual, hard working, mature and extremely personable young man, who very quickly established himself in the life of the school. He became Head Boy in S6 and carried out his responsibilities in a most efficient manner. I was delighted when he was accepted for a medical course, as I believed he had all the qualities to make a fantastic doctor and I wasn't proved wrong. I just cannot believe that someone so dedicated to helping others has been taken so young and have no doubt he will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to all the family at this very difficult time. Alistair may be gone, but he will never be forgotten.
