Its been an enormous pleasure being part of the match day medical team with Al over the past few years. I have to say despite my advancing years I was always a little bit in awe of this talented and accomplished young doctor. He truly had so much more to give.

I’m going to miss the match day ‘ banter’ and seeing Al’s cheery face. We had some great laughs and serious moments too. It won’t be the same without him as part of our team.
