I knew Ali through my non-executive association with Origin Scotland to which he was so fully committed and to which he contributed so much, and he struck me as a vibrant, sparky, good humoured, energetic, talented young man, who always had a grin and radiated a passion for Jesus which he loved to express through worship.     For the family he was of course all of that and so much more!
I cant imagine, how they are coping and my heart bleeds at the thought, but I keep thinking of Job who was able to say in pain “I know my Redeemer lives” Job 19:25, and took comfort from that Hope.   I picture Ali singing his heart out at the Origin Resurrection Events, bursting with joy, and trust these times were simply a foretaste of something incomparably greater!  Until we meet again, thank you Ali!
