Alistair was an “all rounder” who took advantage of all opportunities during his two years in Currie High School. I had the privilege of teaching Alistair at Higher level in Modern Languages. He also enthusiastically developed his leadership skills in the Scripture Union group in the school. Years later I met him again during a short stay in hospital - this time he encouraged his medical colleagues to let me go home earlier than planned! Alistair had time for everyone and was an inspirational role model for the younger pupils in the school. It was a pleasure to watch him become Head Boy and compose music for his final school concert. An exceptionally gifted pupil who will never be forgotten.
