Was such a privilege getting to know Al again after university, as registrars and then consultants together in Fife. He was an amazingly supportive colleague during a difficult time and had a wicked sense of humour. Great memories of giggling like naughty school kids - competing to get mythological beasts into hospital meetings, him taking advantage of Teams to tease me about my artwork, leaving a twiddlemuff on my office door… the list is endless. Inspiring today to hear how he gave so much to so many. He will be missed x
